Reflect on the following qoutes from the chapter, what does each mean to you?
"making ourselves fell ugly is not fun."...This whole game is just designed to make us hate ouselves." I think what Shay is trying to say is that, insulting yourself is never good you should be happy with yourself no matter what. Also that the software was made to want to desier to be a pretty and thats how the corpuration was so big and how it got started.
"Everyone judged everone else based on their appearance. People who were taller got better jobs...people killed one another over stuff like having different skin color." (Referring to when everyone was ugly)
Everyone judges people on there looks and everyone wanted that unfair advantage. So they were fighting for this advantage and people got hurt.
"It's the only way to make people equal." (becoming pretty)
Because of all the fighting they made the pretty program to end the fighting to make everyone equal. But I think they should make it illegal and distroied it.
