The Uglies they met in this chapter are similar to Tally at the beginnig of the book. When you compare her to these Uglies, how has Tally changed and what has made her change? She has changed by first thinking first then acting, and not just having fun, the thing that change her was the hardships of the Smoke, the work, and her likeing David.
